Safety tips
A few habits that keep deals clean.
Pay safely. iwantam does not hold or handle payments. You pay the vendor directly and your agreement is with them, not with iwantam. Check the item before paying where you can, never pay anyone who asks you to deal outside iwantam, and report problems within 14 days.
Before you pay
- Check the vendor's rating, completed deals and Verified badge.
- Keep every message on iwantam so we can help if something goes wrong.
- Never send money to anyone who asks you to move the deal off iwantam.
- Where you can, check the item in person or use pay on delivery.
If something feels wrong
- Use the report button on any message, offer or profile.
- Report problems within 14 days so we can act on them.
