Simple habits that keep every deal clean, wherever you are.

Pay safely. iwantam does not hold or handle payments. You pay the vendor directly and your agreement is with them, not with iwantam. Check the item before paying where you can, never pay anyone who asks you to deal outside iwantam, and report problems within 14 days.

Before you pay

  • Check the seller's rating, deals done and reviews on their seller page.
  • Keep every message on iwantam so we can help if something goes wrong.
  • Never send money to anyone who asks you to move the deal off iwantam.
  • Where you can, check the item first or choose pay on delivery.

Meeting in person

  • Meet in a busy public place in daylight, like a mall or bank entrance.
  • Tell a friend where you are going. Bring someone if you can.
  • Test the item before you hand over money.

Spotting scams

  • The price is far too low, or the seller is in a big hurry.
  • They ask for a "deposit" or "delivery fee" before you have seen anything.
  • They send links to other apps or ask for your sign-in code. iwantam will never ask for your code.
  • They refuse to chat on iwantam or to show the item on a video call.

Jobs safety

  • Real employers never ask you to pay to get a job.
  • Meet for interviews at a real office or on a video call.
  • Do not share bank PINs or ID copies until you have a written offer.

Business deals

  • Ask for company details and check them with the official register.
  • For big orders, start with a small test order.
  • Put quantity, price and delivery dates in writing on the bill.
